Chinese Fine Arts Exhibited in Auckland

The International Tour-Works of the 12th China National Exhibition of Fine Arts-New Zealand Exhibition grandly opened at the Aotea Centre foyer on 14th April, 2015. Song Chenmao, Vice-Consul General, Wu Changjiang, Executive Chairman of China Artists Association, MP Melisa Lee, Jian Yang, and Phil Goff, Mr. David Bromwich, President of New Zealand-China Friendship Association and more than 200 guests attended the grand opening.

Sponsored by China National Arts Fund, China Artists Association and the Rainbow Culture and Arts Group of New Zealand have, for the first time ever, brought 65 master works of the 12th China National Exhibition of Fine Arts outside of China to undertake the international tour with New Zealand as its first stop.

As commented by Ms. Song Chenmao, the Exhibition offers a colourful window for New Zealand audiences to experience the charm of Chinese culture and fine arts. MP Melisa Lee also praised these master works, saying they provide a great opportunity for the local visitors and fine arts lovers to admire and share such rich selection of Chinese fine arts.

The Exhibition will remain open to the public free of charge until 27th April, 2015.
