China to share more benefits with the world
——Understanding China’s 14th Five-Year-Plan(4)

China is expected to be the only major economy to have a positive growth rate this year amid the COVID-19 pandemic. China's steady economic revival and its decision to build the new "dual circulation" development paradigm will create opportunities for other countries' growth and contribute to global economic recovery.

China aims to achieve sustained and healthy economic development in the next five years, with a focus on innovation-driven and high-quality growth, according to the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) for National Economic and Social Development and the Long-Range Objectives Through the Year 2035.

While tapping the potential of the domestic market, China remains committed to expanding all-around opening-up and exploring more efficient ways to connect domestic and foreign markets and share factors of production and other resources. The aim is to build an open economy of a higher standard, and turn the China market into a market for the world, a market shared by all, and a market accessible to all.
